Fairs in Central Florida
Orlando's 87th Annual Central Florida Fair is now open, until March 7th. "A commitment to Our Future - Hats Off to Family Fun" is this year's slogan. Communities of Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Lake, Seminole and Volusia counties will participate in this eleven-day event. This year's Fair will have the largest midway in Central Florida Fair history. Rides, games and entertainment will be offered. There will be an Edible Demonstration Garden at 11:30am on Wednesday. A Petting Zoo for children and Magic by Lee Germaine and Judi. Hours are from 3pm to midnight Monday - Friday and 10:00am to midnight Saturday and Sunday.Fair will take place at the Central Florida Fair Grounds, 4603 W. 64th Annual Strawberry Festival in Plant City, now through March 7th. The Mighty Bluegrass Shows, Midway with more than 60 rides, and a 'Day on the Farm' on March 6, 10am to noon.. A Petting Zoo for Kids' Day on Saturday, Senior Day will be Thursday and will feature, Henry Cuesta and Boots Randolph. Also included will be the old favorites, including the Plant City Garden Club Horticulture Show. Festival open 10:00am - midnight daily. Open until 3:00am on Friday. 1st Annual Seminole County Fair, now through March 7th at Seminole Towne Center in Sanford (Exit 51 off I-4). Thirty rides, several local bands on the Community Stage, and the Bach Festival Children's Choir at 1:30pm on March 7. Saturday, March 6 is Family Fun Day, and Sundays are Mall Mania Days.
