Cypress Gardens, Winter Haven, FL - Water-ski Show, boat rides, and hand-gliding stunts. Also camping, bass fishing, and a Zoo for the family, with a Birdwalk (they'll light on your shoulder); Butterfly Conservatory (walk among more than 1,000 brilliant butterflies in free-flight); Cypress Junction - twenty high speed model trains tour replicas of Miami, New Orleans and Mt. Rushmore on 1,100 feet of track; Carousel Cove - old fashioned kiddie rides and a carousel of ponies. Also, visit the 'Island in the Sky' - a 153 foot revolving platform, offering a view of Cypress Gardens, the Chair of Lakes, and the scenic countryside.
Sea World of Florida -opened in 1973, see the Whale and Dolphin 'Discovery Show', Sealion & Otter Stadium, and Shamu. Also the Peniquin Encounter. Open daily 9-7, extended in summer.
Church Street Station - eat, shop and be entertained at Orlando's Church Street Station Complex.
Wet 'n' Wild - (link listed under 'Water Parks') children's water playground, with scaled-down versions of adult rides .
Universal Studios - I-4 at the Florida Trunpike. Large motion picture studio, fifty attractions, and forty individual movie-street sets.
Walt Disney World - Fantacy of Magic Kingdom, futuristic vision of Epcot Center, stardust in the settings of Disney's MGM Studios.
