Royellou Museum - in the old city jail and fire house in the alley parallel to Baker and Donnelly Sts. between 4th and 5th Avenues. Royellou is the original settlement that was to become Mount Dora.

Gilbert Park - Tremain St. and Liberty Avenue - has a boat ramp, an All Children's Playground, and large picnic pavilion.
Donnelly Park - at the center of town at Fifth Avenue and Donnelly Street, has an entertainment platform for occasional free concerts, shuffleboard courts and clubhouse.
Palm Island Park - next to Gilbert Park, has the longest boardwalk on a lake in Florida
Evans Park - at the foot of Donnelly Street, has a gazebo, picnicking and fishing.

25th Annual Mount Dora Bicycle Festival -Oct 15, 16 and 17, 1999, the Silver Anniversary of Florida's oldest bicycle event. Held in Mount Dora, this three day event draws approximately 1500 cyclists. Each day will feature different length and skill level rides and mountain bike trail rides.(Helmets required).
